Drawing is the fundamental skill that underpins all other artistic techniques. This drawing course offers plenty of practise, professional guidance and encouragement. Giving you the time and opportunity to develop your observational skills through a series of still-life studies, as well as fine tune your drawing techniques using a range of mediums including pencil, conte pastel, oil pastel and charcoal.
You may already attend a weekly art class or you may be a little rusty and have not drawn for a while if at all. It doesn’t matter what stage you are at as the aim of these sessions is to develop yourself, broaden your technique, exercise your observational eye and above all remind yourself that drawing is pleasurable.
With a different still-life theme each session including; reflective and textural surfaces, fabric, food and glass, you will be guided through the processes of capturing their qualities through mark making, composition, use of light, and tone by your tutor, professional artist Kelly Jenkins.
All materials are included as well as refreshments and nibbles.
Places: maximum of 6. Booking Essential.
